We are a one-stop solution to your furry friends’ needs in providing exceptional and quality Obedience Training for dogs and cats, Day Care dog boarding services and advise on your dog’s or Cat’s health and nutrition. Clients who follow through the training guidelines with consistency, achieve results in just 4 training sessions.

Here at Smart Paws, our philosophy is positive reinforcement forging a long lasting relationship with your furry friends. Our training approach is in line with Karen Pryor, an American behavioural psychologist and marine mammal biologist. We teach both the modern science and positive reinforcement, problem solving, behavioural change and plan clients’ lesson plan.

We have introduced dogs’ day care boarding services, subject to availability and by appointment as we only accept 1-2 dogs at a time. We also offer cats’ training programme for owners who wish to address their cats’ house breaking, anxiety, health & nutrition or obedience training.

Qn: When should I begin training my cat & dog?
Ans: As early as 3 months old or as soon as you adopt on day 1 of your dog’s arrival.

Qn: How should I set up my dog‘s & cat’s new environment?
Ans: consider a play pen, creating a dog’s natural habitant. pls avoid placing any fabrics, mats, fabric toys in the event that they were to accidentally swallow the fabric‘s broken parts, dogs would need to seek immediate medical attention. Gradually introduce mats only after your puppy or adult dog is potty trained to avoid soiling their play pen area. For cats, start by degsignating a quiet space with essential items like food, water, and a little box, and ensure it’s safe and escape proof.

Qn: can I feed my dogs fruits?
Ans: Fruits contain high sugar, pls feed in moderation. Always google which fruit is safe for your dogs. For example, avoid fruits such as grapes 🍇

Qn: Should I use a collar or harness?

Ans: Harness is advisable but check with your trainer on the options that best suits your dog.

Qn: Can I bring my puppy to pet cafes?
Ans: please avoid pet cafes especially puppies, as they can fall ill easily due to their low immune system. Puppies could also pick up undesirable behaviours from other dogs in the cafe. Wait till your puppy is much older and obedience trained, before introducing them to the Pet Cafes.
